Parents with toddlers, listen up. Recently a popular toddler bed was recalled over concerns that the bed can fall apart, trapping and potentially injuring the child sleeping in it. The recall itself was issued back on December 28 by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and includes the Land of Nod's Nook toddler bed.

So far there have been “four reports claiming the headboard detached from the bed frame and fell on the bed.” In one of those instances, the headboard actually fell on the child. Fortunately, the child wasn't injured, but The Land of Nod isn't taking any chances. In fact, the company is “reaching out to all known purchasers” to inform them of the recall. Anyone who does, in fact, have one of the recalled products can contact the company for a “full refund by calling 800-933-9904 from 8:30 a. m. to 5 p.m. CT Monday through Friday, or by going to the company's website and clicking on 'Product Recalls' at the bottom of the page,” according to the recall notice.Unsure whether or not your child's bed is included in the recall? Well, according to the recall notice, the affected beds are available in either “gray or green,” and they have “'The Land of Nod,' 'Made in Vietnam,' and SKU number 404485 written on the label attached to both the headboard and footboard.” Additionally, they were sold between May 2015 and September 2017 in stores and online for $500.
