Attempted Murder: Unusual Way To Pass The Time
Brown was able to flee on foot toward the Cotopaxi Store, flagging down a passerby somewhere along the way for help. The suspects then allegedly got into the Brown’s Jeep, chased him down with it and crashed it into the vehicle of the person who was trying to help. At around 7:27 p.m. that evening, according to the Fremont County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the location of the crime in Cotopaxi. Brown was taken to an area hospital with life threatening injuries. Deputies later found the Jeep, but the suspects were not found after hours of searching the area. It would take some time before officers apprehended the couple. Once caught, Plante allegedly assaulted police officers during her arrest.[caption id="attachment_18672" align="alignnone" width="300"]
