Lawyers of Distinction recently recognized Birmingham, Michigan based John F. Schaefer, founder and managing partner of The Law Firm of John F. Schaefer, as a member. Mr. Schaefer is a graduate of the Michigan State University College of Law, class of 1969, and is also a trustee emeritus, generous donor, and adjunct professor at the Law College for more than 30 years. The Law College’s library is named after him.Lawyers of Distinction, a national private marketing organization, confirms less than 10 percent of attorneys in any given state.
