Two Supreme Court Decisions involving my work have impacted humanity - one for the growing betterment of all humankind and the other for the growing harm to all of us.
Supreme Court Decision Good for Humanity
One Supreme Court decision, citing some of my work on auto safety, has benefited people worldwide.1In this good decision that reinstated the regulatory requirements for airbags, the Supreme Court relied in part on the NHTSA Report that I was responsible for producing.2 The resulting life saving benefits to humanity of this Supreme Court decision is not only enormous, but it is growing.3
Supreme Court Decision Harmful to Humanity
The Supreme Court decision of Lombardo v. Handler has had a tragic history of growing harm to humanity.4 This decision was first made by Judge Sirica and then upheld in Appeals to the Supreme Court.5The resulting harm to humanity of these decisions including the Supreme Court decision is not only enormous, but it is growing. Since 1975, excess air pollutants have been allowed to be emitted contributing to the Climate Crisis afflicting all humankind to this day.6
Public Evaluation of Court Decisions
There is only one Court above the Supreme Court and that is the Court of Public Opinion. According to the Gallup Opinion Polls the public disapproval of the Court is at 58% the highest level recorded.7

We the people can and must do more in the Court of Public Opinion. We can demand that media report on all judicial decisions and indicate the Party that nominated the Judges.8We can demand that the media report on the consequentiality of all judicial decisions. For example, on abortion, on money in politics, accountability in the courts, and the “Revolving Door” in all Agencies of government. Thanks to Legal Reader for its coverage over the years and for its graphic design of Lady Justice by Neil Angeles which depicts her recognition of the stench of corruption by Big Buck$.
